It is always best to have someone do the measuring for you. Use a good quality tape measure. Measurements can be given either in centimetres or inches. If you are still unsure please contact us for help. We want your kilt to fit you perfectly.

Measurement A description Measurement taken above the normal trouser line between the bottom of the ribcage and the naval. Firm but relaxed measurement keeping two fingers between the tape and the body. Please do not breathe in!

Measurement B descriptionWidest part of the seat, around where the bottom of the pleats will come. One third of the kilt length again keeping two fingers between the tape and the body.

Measurement C descritionFrom where the waist measurement was taken to half way down the knee or to the preferred length above or below the knee. Please specify.
